About Me
Hello, I'm Tom Doona.
(Or Thomas on a Sunday)

I am a full-time freelancer specialising in filmmaking, photography and project facilitation. I am passionate about the arts; always striving to widen my platform for artistic expression and storytelling. With past experience in full-time education, broadening access to film and visual media for young people is at the heart of what I do.
I have years of self-shooting experience working across a huge array of community, arts and education spaces. Through this, I have been lucky enough to collaborate with countless artists, organisations and young people that have inspired and fuelled my own practice. I am also a writer of films and plays.
I pride myself in a calm, friendly and subtle way of working. I believe that creative work is a pure product of the environment in which it is made.
From magic videos to scribbled novellas as a child, creative storytelling has been my life-long passion*. I am loving the journey of turning that passion into purposeful professional work.
