"Hidden writing" is a term I use for the pieces of writing that often lay dormant in the closed pages of an airtight notepad. Every writer has these pieces - the ones written for no one but the writer. The cathartic 'think pieces' that dislodge stubborn thoughts and feelings.

My 'Hidden Writing Bookcase' is a segment of my website that I aim to use to air my own pieces of Hidden Writing. Usually personal essays that are written in response to something I have experienced or a feeling I just can't shake. If one person reads one of these pieces and so much as exhales gently through their nostrils in vague agreement, then that is enough motivation for me to let these Hidden pieces go.
